A subrace of Chimaltenango  that is early and of medium height. The smaller ears are characteristic of intergression of other landraces that created this unique subrace. It is not widely grown and has only been collected  in a small area in the Departments of San Marcos, Quetzaltenango, and Totonicapan at altitudes of 7600-9000 feet.
