Seed originated from the Funk Brothers Seed Company who received their seed from plant breeder R.I. Brawn in Canada. Identical to Gaspe Flint but is shorter in height. Probably a local selection of it by the company or Brawn. Small, 1-2 inch ears.  Very early as all Gaspe Flint is.
