This bush and snap variety made its way to Oregon about the time the territory became a state. It was given to a Don Fowler from which the bean derives its name in 1981 of the Grace Theological Seminary by an Oregon church member. Seems to resist Japanese bean beetle and other pests. Could be very valuable in breeding.
